Host a Program at Your Facility
Bring visibility to your company by hosting an event. FMA plant tours and workshops are located across North America throughout the year. Some of the most popular events take place at fabricating shops and equipment manufacturing facilities. Showcase modern manufacturing to local middle schoolers by serving as a tour site for an NBT summer manufacturing camp.

Enhance Your School's Manufacturing Technology Programs
A community college, university, technical / trade school, or high school that offers manufacturing technology programs can partner with FMA to receive exclusive benefits.
School members qualify to become a testing center for FMA’s Fundamentals of Metal Fabrication Certificate. Students who attend FMA member schools get priority consideration for scholarships through the NBT Foundation. Many school members run NBT summer manufacturing camps that inspire young people to pursue manufacturing careers. Schools also may host an FMA technical training program and offer fabrication and welding training to meet the needs of their local employer base.

Participate in a Survey
FMA compiles a number of industry statistics to serve as benchmarking tools. These survey products provide details on capital spending trends, salaries, hourly wages, benefits, financial, and operating measures to give your company a competitive edge. All data submitted remains confidential. The more companies that participate in these surveys, the broader the data and the more valuable the results.

Offer your expertise by writing an article for FMA's magazines and newsletters. Editors look for objective, educational, technical articles to help metal forming and fabricating practitioners learn about techniques, tooling, machinery, and management concepts.

Review Scholarships
NBT awards scholarships to students who will attend community colleges and technical or trade schools to prepare for manufacturing careers. Multitudes of deserving young people apply for funding to help them achieve their academic degrees. You can help by scoring applications once or twice a year.
