About the 2016 Financial Ratio & Operational Benchmarking Survey:

This tool provides crucial business performance data for company owners and managers in the metal forming, fabricating, and processing industry.

The survey collects financial and operational data on thirty-two metrics in the areas of liquidity, profitability, asset management, debt management, value proposition, and marketing effectiveness. The responses will then be compiled together, and the results reported out anonymously in June. Participants will receive a comprehensive health checkup by comparing their numbers to other companies based on the number of employees, company type, sales volume, geographic region, and plant size.

More participation means more valuable results, so FMA offers all who fully complete the survey a substantial discount on the compiled results.

  • FMA/TPA Advantage-level members who complete the survey will receive the results at no charge
  • FMA/TPA basic-level members who complete it may purchase the results for $75
  • Non-member companies who complete it may purchase the results for $250
