In this DVD we learn about the basic physics behind the laser.  We will learn about waves, hertz, frequency and the light spectrum from radio waves to x-rays and we'll discuss the difference between E1 and E2; the high and low energy states of the medium.

This part of the program also looks at incoherent and coherent light, along with the meanings behind waves being in-phase and out of phase and how that affects the power within the beam.  We also review the reflecting mirrors and meaning behind resonance length.
